This privacy policy explains how Adxion ("we", "our", or "the app") collects, uses, and protects your information. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices.

Adxion is designed with privacy in mind. All data you create in the app is stored locally on your device using SwiftData (Apple's data persistence framework). We do not collect, transmit, or store any of your personal information on external servers.

Data Stored Locally on Your Device

The app stores the following types of information locally on your device:

1. Project Data
   • Project names and descriptions
   • Project categories, tags, and priorities
   • Project start dates, end dates, and durations
   • Project status and completion information
2. Task Data (To-Dos)
   • Task titles and descriptions
   • Task categories, tags, and priorities
   • Task due dates and completion status
   • Task creation and modification dates
3. Idea Data
   • Idea titles and descriptions
   • Idea categories, tags, and priorities
   • Estimated durations and potential start dates
   • Favorite and conversion status
4. Media Attachments
   • Images: Photos you attach to your ideas (stored with external storage optimization)
   • Voice Notes: Audio recordings you create for your ideas (stored in M4A format)

Device Permissions

To provide certain features, Adxion requests the following device permissions:

Microphone Access

• Purpose: To record voice notes that you can attach to your ideas
• When Requested: Only when you tap the record button to create a voice note
• Data Storage: Voice recordings are stored locally on your device in the app's Documents directory
• Data Transmission: Voice recordings are never transmitted off your device

Photo Library Access

• Purpose: To allow you to attach images from your photo library to your ideas
• When Requested: Only when you choose to add an image attachment
• Data Storage: Selected images are stored locally on your device
• Data Transmission: Images are never transmitted off your device
• Note: Adxion uses Apple's PhotosPicker API, which provides limited, privacy-preserving access to only the photos you explicitly select

How We Use Your Information

All data you create in Adxion is used solely for the following purposes:

1. App Functionality: To provide the core features of project management, task tracking, and idea brainstorming
2. Local Organization: To organize, categorize, filter, and search your data within the app
3. User Experience: To display your projects, tasks, and ideas in an intuitive and useful manner

Data Storage and Security

Local Storage

• All data is stored exclusively on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework
• Data is protected by your device's built-in security features (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID)
• Voice notes are stored in your app's Documents directory with UUID-based filenames
• Images use SwiftData's external storage optimization for efficient memory management

iCloud Sync (if enabled)

• If you have iCloud enabled on your device, SwiftData may automatically sync your app data to iCloud
• This sync is handled entirely by Apple's secure infrastructure
• We do not have access to your iCloud data
• You can disable iCloud sync for Adxion in your device Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud > Manage Storage > Adxion

Data Security

Your data is only as secure as your device. We recommend:

• Using a strong device passcode
• Enabling Face ID or Touch ID
• Keeping your device's operating system up to date
• Not jailbreaking or rooting your device

Data Retention

While Using the App

• Data remains on your device for as long as you keep it in the app
• You can delete individual projects, tasks, ideas, and media attachments at any time
• Deleted items are permanently removed from your device

When You Delete the App

• If you delete Adxion from your device, all locally stored data will be permanently deleted
• If you had iCloud sync enabled, data may remain in your iCloud storage until you manually delete it
• To completely remove all data, delete the app and remove any iCloud backups from Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud > Manage Storage

Your Rights and Choices

You have complete control over your data:

1. Access: You can view all your data within the app at any time
2. Modification: You can edit any project, task, or idea you've created
3. Deletion: You can delete individual items or all data by deleting the app
4. Export: You can share or export your data using the device's native sharing capabilities
5. Permissions: You can revoke microphone or photo library access at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security

Third-Party Services

Adxion does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The app uses only Apple's native frameworks:

• SwiftUI: For user interface
• SwiftData: For local data storage
• AVFoundation: For audio recording and playback
• PhotosUI: For photo selection
• Foundation: For core functionality

These frameworks are built into your device's operating system and operate according to Apple's privacy policies.

Children's Privacy

Adxion does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since all data is stored locally on the device and we do not transmit any data, the app can be safely used by individuals of any age under parental guidance.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes in:

• App features and functionality
• Legal or regulatory requirements
• Our data practices

When we make changes:

• We will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy
• Significant changes may be announced within the app or on our website

• All data remains on your device

If you enable iCloud sync, Apple handles data storage according to their privacy policies and may store data in international data centers.

• COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act)
